Costume Designer

As an Atlanta-based Costume Designer with 12+ years of IATSE experience, Marcella Caudill is dedicated to crafting character-driven, nuanced designs that bring stories to life on screen. Some of her most notable and favorite projects include General Electric, Ozark (season 4), WandaVision, Hidden Figures, and Zombieland 2.

Originally from Wilmington, NC, where she launched her career, Marcella frequently returns to work on projects there, which helps her stay connected with the local film community and maintain strong relationships with vendors and crews.

She thrives in positive, collaborative filmmaking environments where she brings the written word to life through costume. Marcella enjoys creating characters with subtlety and realism, helping audiences instantly connect with them the moment they appear on screen. Capturing the essence of different eras through thoughtful research and creativity brings her a great deal of joy, and she strives to make every project feel authentic and full of life.

With dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film Studies and Theatre: Design and Technology from The University of North Carolina Wilmington, her academic background enriches her work. Marcella is ready and eager to take on department head roles in film, television, and commercial projects, and she is open to traveling for opportunities that allow her to tell stories through costume design.
